3.5 StarsThis book was a pleasant surprise. I honestly did not expect to like it as much as I did. Being so busy with my colleges and classes this past month I had not had enough time to properly read a book (depressing...i know!) and Flame Moon was a great book for me to get back into the reading wagon. The story starts with Skye waking up on a riverbank having not a single memory of her past. Skye was a tricky, volatile character but I really liked the way she was growing throughout the book and recovering her memory bits by bits. I like how she interacted with other characters, especially Triaten and Rafe. I really liked the chemistry between Aiden and Skye too.Apart from a few minor (and kind of funny!) typos the writing flowed smoothly. I loved the premise of the story and I hope to read more about the Panthenites/Malefics struggle in the sequel! And also more about Skye's special ability.
