I'm going against the norm here. I finally decided I did not like the book. I'd say it had its moments and I can completely understand why people like it. But there is one major fault I just could not get over.INCONSISTENCYInconsistency in Sky's personality.Inconsistency in Holder's personality. In Sky's reactions. In Holder's reactions. In the time frame. In the happenings. In the plot.In secondary characters. There was so much inconsistency in the book I found myself facepalming myself loads of times. LIKE LOADS OF TIMES. But I finished it. I did. Why? Because I have to hand it to this book for the shock factor. And the conflicting emotions it got in me. Colleen Hoover is a talented author and she has a great writing style. And I loved her Slammed. But her other books just couldn't measure up. In Hopeless too she writes beautifully but the cliches and the cheese factors are too much for me. As is the characters running hot and cold for reasons that make little sense. And the aforementioned inconsistency.I tried to like this book, I really did. But it just didn't work for me.2.5 Stars
